DEEP ROOTS
Unidelta was founded in Vestone (Brescia) in 1973.
In what will later be known as “Valle del Tondino”, the Freddi brothers (Leandro and Eugenio) decide to bet on plastic.
As true pioneers, they immediately understood the potential of the market of polyethylene pipes, which within a few years would have replaced the metal pipe market.
1973 Start
The Freddi brothers (Leandro and
Eugenio) founded Unidelta and
began producing polyethylene
pipes (PE).
1979
Installation of the first extrusion line
for cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X) pipes.
1987
Unidelta’s first polypropylene
compression fitting was
developed.
1995
Introduction of electro-weldable fittings,
transition and butt fusion
jointing fittings.
The company obtained
ISO 9001 certification.
2000
Construction of the new production site
for fittings and the warehouse
for pipes and fittings (loc. Merlaro – Bs).
2005
Restyling of the Unidelta logo.
Introduction of the DeltOne system.
2006
Inauguration of the new offices
in Vestone (Bs).
2007
Launch on the market of the new product
DeltAll (PE-X/Al/PE-X pipes).
2009
The first Unidelta brass fittings
for water and gas are developed (DeltaPress).
2010
Insertion of PE-RT
pipes to complete
the Unidelta range.
GO LIVE SAP.
2015
The first DeltaFuse welding fittings
are developed.
2016
Presentation of the new FlexAll
(PE-RT/AL/PE-RT pipes) line.
ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001
certifications were obtained.
2017
Introduction of Unidelta
polypropylene valves.
2020
Expansion of the polypropylene
valve range.
2022
The first DeltaFuse EVOLUTION welding fittings
are developed.
2023
50th Anniversary of the founding of UNIDELTA.
